The Shock Trap Dampener expands on the popular "W" dampener Wilson is known for. Instead of attaching to only the center two main strings, the Shock Trap wraps the center 4 main strings with 4 rectangular shaped pieces with slits on each end. The Shock Trap reduces string vibration and enables a clean, and solid sounds at contact. The Shock Trap is slightly thicker in the middle for more dampening where you need it most.
